Happy Birthday Händel Förderverein and Travel Events present:

“The Happy Birthday Händel Messiah World Tour”

Cape Town lures with a great charm. The beautiful coastal landscape around the Cape of Good Hope, the impressive Table Mountain, the multi-layered influences of the cultures of the African indigenous people, Boers and English are constantly blending in a fascinating way, making Cape Town one of the most diverse and impressive cities in the world.

Every year at Easter, the Philharmonia Choir of Cape Town performs Handel’s Messiah with baroque orchestration, and we are invited to participate. In addition to the rehearsal and concert program, there is plenty of opportunity to explore this charming city and surrounding area.

3 April: After a restful sleep and a good breakfast, we will embark on a city tour and tour of Cape Town. In the afternoon there is to for relaxation is required and a Messiah rehearsal with the PCCT.

In the afternoon, leisure time is planned in Cape Town’s historic City Center and a dinner at the Africa Café, which enchants us with singing and sound in addition to amazing African cuisine.

6 April: Today we are planning a day trip to the Cape of Good Hope. The beautiful Hout Bay and the stunning Chapman’s Drive are two highlights, as are the penguin colonies. But above all, we will experience a lot of impressive scenery. We end the day with the legendary Sun Downer on Signal Hill.
